Owner / Talent (DJ Jolt)
Josh is a co-owner of DJ Jolt, and he’s our main entertainer and DJ. His professional work has spanned audio production and light design for many public productions and private events alike. He’s mastered practical sound engineering and light design, and is classically trained in creative mixing and live music. He also sings upon request.
His best talents are designing light washes, spot and laser light shows, atmospheres, and more, that stay in sync with what’s playing.
DJ Jolt designs dazzling light shows and electrifying atmosphere that’ll take your breath away. He pairs it with some of the latest musical hits and many of his team’s best custom mixes. And together, they deliver an incomparable value for a highly competitive rate. His paramount goal is to give you the quality your money deserves, not the bare minimum other DJs try to get away with.
Owner / Management (Boss Lady)
Julia is a co-owner of DJ Jolt and her codename is (aptly) the boss lady. She keeps us organized. She coordinates each of our individual steps on this team, and oversees the logistics of each performance. She keeps in close contact with our clients, making sure that every expectation our clients have is not only met, but exceeded. This level of collaboration is not just a goal for her, it is a true standard. As an orchestra, our team plays the instruments. Julia plays the orchestra.
Julia’s our organization and sense of direction. She manages our schedule and keeps us busy, and inspires us with new ideas for the next event.
Sarah Hope Dennis
Talent (DJ Ginger)
Sarah is a Master Mixologist and co-DJ with Josh. She’s always had music in her heart. This girl lives, breathes, and sleeps for a good beat. She is without a doubt our creative epicenter when it comes to dropping the bass. Her training is in live performance, and music theory. She’s classically educated in audio production and mastering.
Her primary talents include mixing songs with creativity that blows us all away. She can read a crowd and feel through her fingertips every single music track they’ll want to hear next. She can divine the next five songs that your guests will request before they’re requested, and always plans ten tracks ahead.
Jenne Nycole Wilusz
Jenne is an integral part of one of the most paramount and defining qualities of DJ Jolt Entertainment: Lighting. In our profession, it’s known as gaffing: It’s high tech, high maintenance, and high creativity. It requires discipline, passion, and creativity. Jenne has all of these things. She’s beyond talented. And she has years and years of experience running entire theaters, under her belt. She can make over 16 million colors, and she knows precisely which one is just right for you.
Lighting and atmosphere is an integral part of setting a mood and a tone for your next engagement, and she loves being a part of something special. When it comes to your next event, she’ll put herself into it and ensure that the uplighting and visual effects are bound to blow you away.
Talent / Roadie (Maverick)
Scott Noyes has spent most of his life interested in art, since he was young his passions have always been comic books, drawing, taking photographs, and designing.
Scott has six years of experience in Graphic Design and when we saw his design skills, we just had to have him on this team. He is proficient with programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and is adept at Web Design. His greatest strength in our business is photography. He’s great behind a camera and really captures the energy going on in the room. One thing you truly want to see is the raw emotion and feeling going on during a show; he’ll capture it perfectly so you’ll never be able to forget those cherished memories.
Talent / Roadie (Magic Mike)
Mike has been into music since a very young age when his father, Richard, introduced him to Aerosmith and Louis Armstrong. When we approached him with an offer to get up close into the music industry, naturally he took that shot. He’s a Roadie, assisting our move from point A to point B, and he’s our film guy. He does our filmography for our marketing campaigns, and advises those strategies from a creative perspective.
He’s artistic with angles, cuts, and directing. He’s pursuing his degree in film production and someday will be directing major motion pictures with bigger budgets than ours.
Roadie / Logistics (Stringbean)
Christian is a Roadie and travel logistician. Along with Mike and Scott, Christian works on packing and unpacking the equipment, sorting the assets, and transporting the rig.
He oversees transit logistics, including the packing and transport of our gear and our team to and from the destination. Think of the packing as a giant sized game of Tetris with blocks that don’t always fit perfectly. He heads the motorcade because he knows the roads and monitors traffic conditions en route, ensuring an expedient arrival to the venue in time to set up all equipment with time to spare. He’ll keep driving with a broken arm, if it means arriving on time. (True story.)
Wardrobe / Talent (Firecracker)
Rachel is the fashionista of our team. She assists in an advisory capacity to our Management and contributes to our marketing strategies, but she primarily designs our attire for each event. The way that the DJ and our team is dressed must be a direct reflection of both your vision for, as well as the overall theme of your event. Wedding Receptions call for tuxes. Other parties could call for anything from street clothes to semi formal threads. When we have our eyes on your event, she has her eyes on us. Rachel gauges what would best fit your event and hand picks our clothing like a sartorial sommelier.
Management / Roadie (Eristotle)
James is a business and entrepreneur graduate from the University of Connecticut. He’s passionate about entertainment of all kinds, and has a deep appreciation for the creative flare, wherever it presents itself.
He assists in management and directly reports on administrative matters regarding our company. He helms our marketing strategies and ensures that we’re always in compliance with not only state regulations, but our own standards as well. This is an important role because it keeps everyone safe, everyone happy, and keeps us out of tax trouble.
Photographer (Shutter Babe)
Meag is our primary in-house photographer. She’s worked for main-staples in the industry such as LifeTouch, and runs her own photography business on the side. We’re lucky to have lured her away from it all to come work with us.
From early on, she knew that she was made for photography, and has always been incredibly talented at it. She’s attained years of professional experience in not only photography, but staging and lighting, as well as Adobe Photoshop proficiency, through years of apprenticeship and employment. She’s the best choice for many of those who are in need of a good shoot, and are unafraid to break the camera. For a sample of her work, visit her website.
